After spending less than a year on campus, Texas native T.Q. Jackson is planning on leaving Arkansas.

One of the Razorbacks’ four-star signees in the 2019 recruiting cycle, Jackson was rated as a top 400 player nationally and the No. 45 receiver in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

Jackson redshirted his only season in Fayetteville after catching 38 passes for 797 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior season at Jefferson High School in East Texas.

In his posted statement declaring his plans to “find a new home that best fits me,” Jackson thanked the previous Arkansas staff under Chad Morris and the new one led by Sam Pittman for all they have done for him.

He also notes he has been battling some depression and believes that finding a new home is in his best interest.
