Fighting for a starting spot in Will Muschamp’s secondary, Auburn safety Tray Matthews had a leaping interception in the end zone during the second half of the Tigers’ spring game. Afterwards he was flagged for excessive celebration though.
Matthews sat out the 2014 season after transferring from Georgia where he was dismissed the first week of June for an unspecified violation of team rules.
