Texas A&M RB Trayveon Williams had a big day against Tennessee.

The true freshman carried the ball 28 times for 217 yards and a touchdown in the thrilling 45-38 victory over the Volunteers.

Williams’ day was historic for the Aggies, as he set the school’s freshman rushing record:

The previous Texas A&M freshman record was held by Darren Lewis, who ran for 197 yards at TCU in 1987.

Williams now has 704 rushing yards this year. He’s also found the end zone five times.

The Aggies have a bye next weekend before they travel to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 1 Alabama on Oct. 22.
