Tre Harris has his team’s back heading into the matchup with No. 2 Georgia.
This game is one of the most important on Ole Miss’ schedule, if not the most important.
Harris is coming off of his best performance of the year against Texas A&M. He had 213 yards receiving with 1 touchdown in the 38-35 win.
Harris was asked at Tuesday’s press conference about the game in regard to the College Football Playoff. He said that it’s a big game regardless and that the team doesn’t pay attention to something that’s out of their control.
“In a way. It’s a big game regardless of the playoffs and everything like that because we know we’re playing against the defending national champions. We’re going into their house and we’re gonna go out and we’re going to ball,” said Harris. “We don’t really talk about the College Football Playoff implications at the end of the day, because we know that we don’t really control it. We just have to go out there and play.”
Ole Miss and Georgia last played during the Hugh Freeze era. The Rebels won, but the win was eventually vacated.
The Rebels will need to be at their best to take down the Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
