Trevon Diggs, a former Alabama cornerback and star in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, reportedly suffered a leg injury at practice Thursday.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Diggs was seen leaving practice on crutches. According to NFL network’s Ian Rapoport, Diggs is undergoing an MRI on his knee following practice.

Obviously, this is less than ideal news for Dallas, one of the best teams in the league. Diggs, a 2-time pro bowler and one of the top corners in the league, is just 2 years removed from a season where he finished with 11 interceptions. He has a total of 18 interceptions across 47 career games for Dallas.

And he’s off to a strong start this season too, with 1 interception and 3 pass deflections already through just 2 games.

Hopefully, his injury doesn’t turn out to be too severe.
