LSU lands commitment from top 10 in-state prospect, 4-star running back TreVonte’ Citizen

LSU currently has the top-ranked recruiting class in the Southeastern Conference and the league’s best class just got better as the Tigers have managed to keep one of the state’s best prospects home.
TreVonte’ Citizen of Lake Charles College Prep is now officially a Tiger as the four-star Louisiana native announced his commitment Ed Orgeron’s program on Monday.
The 6-foot, 217-pound Citizen is rated as the No. 11 running back, the No. 9 overall prospect from Louisiana and a top 150 prospect overall in the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Following his pledge to join the program, LSU now holds commitments from 15 prospects in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
