LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green seemingly suffered a serious leg injury in the Tigers’ win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.

After the win, Green was spotted on the field wearing a knee brace and using crutches to move around. Here’s a clip:

While there’s been no official update from Brian Kelly as of publication, that doesn’t look like good news for Green. He’s been a breakout player for the Tigers this offseason. At 6-foot-7, Green also plays basketball for LSU and has been impactful during his brief time with both programs.

Last week against Clemson, it was Green who made the game-winning touchdown grab in the fourth quarter.

Green didn’t record any statistics on Saturday night as starting LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier turned to his receiver room instead in the passing game. However, if Green does miss time, it would be a big loss for the Tigers — particularly in the red zone.

LSU will have to re-group from a somewhat underwhelming performance on Saturday against the Bulldogs. Kelly’s team is set to host Florida in a primetime kickoff next weekend in Death Valley.
