NFL Draft analyst praises pro potential of Treylon Burks, shares interesting player comp

Arkansas fans are well aware of how special of a player Treylon Burks has been during his time in Fayetteville and now NFL Draft analysts are starting to take notice.
Burks technically has two seasons of eligibility remaining in Fayetteville, but should he continue to improve his stock with more outstanding play on the field this fall, it’s hard to see the Arkansas native passing on the opportunity to likely be a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
When it comes to a player comp for Burks, NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah sees some A.J. Brown in the Razorback’s game.
He reminds me of: A.J. Brown. I remember watching Brown torch the SEC from the slot. Brown is a little more explosive than Burks, but both guys play with tremendous physicality and toughness. They aren’t afraid to work in traffic and they become special once the ball is in their hands. Brown has already established himself as a premier player at his position in the NFL. I don’t believe Burks has quite the same upside, but I see him developing into a solid No. 2 target at the next level.
Jeremiah also shared his thoughts that Burks stands a ton to gain this season by playing against LSU. Matching up against the cornerback duo of Derek Stingley Jr. and Eli Ricks will give Burks the opportunity to show what he can do against some of the best defensive backs college football has to offer.
