Treylon Burks had a scary injury situation on Thursday night in the Tennessee Titans’ 20-16 loss vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The former Arkansas wide receiver had a hard fall on a missed deep catch with 2:16 to go in the game and was carted off the field.
However thankfully, positive reports have emerged about Burks. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel
“He is alert, moving,” Vrabel said via the team website. “I’ll have more of an update tomorrow, but he is back there being evaluated. I would say the way it looked – it is better than how it looked. So, he is alert, and he is in the training room being evaluated.”
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport adds that Burks didn’t need to go the hospital and was walking around after the game.

Rapoport notes that the league’s concussion protocol might still be enforced because of the nature of the injury.
