Three SEC teams are within the top 6 finalists for one of the top running backs in the class of 2022. North Stafford (Va.) running back Tevin White released the list on Thursday on his Twitter account, and Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina were the SEC programs that made the cut.
Along with those 3, the ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 also saw representation in Duke, Penn State and Arizona State, respectively.
According to 247Sports’ composite ranking, White is a 4-star recruit, considered the No. 14 running back in the country in his class and the No. 7 player in the state of Virginia regardless of position. He also plays running back at North Stafford, who finished 9-5 last season.
Penn State has the edge among the teams vying for White’s services, according to 247’s Crystal Ball predictions.

“[He has] good size with ability to play at 210 pounds, [with] all-purpose back ability and size to be [a] workhorse,” said 247Sports recruiting analyst Brian Dohn.
