Missouri officially dismissed DE Nate Howard on Thursday.

In June, Howard received a suspension after being arrested for possesion of a controlled substance. On Monday night, Howard was arrested again for failing to appear for an out-of-county speeding ticket.

A team spokesperson told Tod Palmer of the Kansas City Star that Howard has been dismissed and Tigers coach Barry Odom “is going to help him find somewhere to get a fresh start.”

Howard confirmed the news, tweeting his own farewell. In two seasons, Howard appeared in 15 games, making 15 total tackles, including 2.5 for loss.
