With each passing week, Tua Tagovailoa’s draft stock appears to continue to rise.

If you missed the videos shared by the former Alabama quarterback on Monday evening, Tagovailoa has made incredible strides in his recovery from hip surgery. So much so that one ESPN NFL analyst was blown away by the video.

“I am shocked at how good Tua looks, I did not expect this in March. I mean, we’re still in March. And this is a kid that six or seven weeks ago was still on crutches,” Dan Orlovsky said Tuesday during an appearance on ESPN morning show “Get Up.”

The ESPN analyst then took his evaluation a step further, stating that the teams near the top of the 2020 NFL Draft likely are going to be battling it out now for the quarterback most deem as a potential franchise signal-caller.

“Alright so we’ve got the medical reports, we’ve had his checkups right? We’ve had those and those have been really good,” Orlovsky said. “We’ve had the MRI. And those have been really good and now this video gets released.

“I think this video is now going to set up a chain of events like almost like an arms race or maybe like a game of chicken between the Chargers and between the Dolphins and, I don’t know, maybe the Raiders have like, ‘Okay, all of these boxes that we needed to get checked as an organization are now being checked when it comes to Tua Tagovailoa,’ and there’s not going to be any more like excuses, or, you know, asterisk that you have to describe or define or whatnot. This is a big-time video.

“I’m shocked by how good Tua looks.”
