Eyes around the college football world are on Tua Tagovailoa’s ankle injury.
The Alabama quarterback left mid-way through the second quarter Saturday night against Tennessee, and he didn’t return to the game. At one point, Tagovailoa left Bryant-Denny Stadium in an ambulance only to return to celebrate with his teammates following the 35-13 victory over the Vols.
On Sunday morning, Alabama announced that Tagovailoa had surgery for his high ankle sprain, and there’s hope he can return for the LSU game on November 9. A video and explanation of the “tight rope” procedure can be seen here.
So, naturally, much of the Tide’s season hangs in the balance of the quarterback’s injury.
Well, SEC Shorts, an online comedy series exploring the crazy world of college football in the south, parodies an Alabama superfan willing to donate his entire ankle to Tagovailoa. The fan’s agility drills takes the cake this week.
Enjoy.
