Just before kickoff at the Belk Bowl in Charlotte, it was announced that two Arkansas players would miss the game with injuries.

WR Jared Cornelius and CB DJ Dean will both be held out of the matchup against Virginia Tech — Cornelius with a knee injury and Dean with a foot injury:

Cornelius had been a useful part of Arkansas’s offense in 2016, recording 32 catches for 515 yards and four touchdowns. In nine games this season, Dean recorded 24 tackles.

The Razorbacks lead Virginia Tech early in the first quarter of the Belk Bowl. The game can be seen on ESPN.
