This is Les Miles’ chance to stage a big recruiting comeback on a couple of former five-star commitments.
According to a report from 247Sports, both Dylan Moses and JaCoby Stevens are back in Baton Rogue on Tuesday to visit with the Tigers coaching staff.
Each player spent time committed to LSU before deciding to reopen their recruitment. They’re expected to be spectators at the Tigers’ spring practice today, according to the report.
Stevens, who is ranked as the No. 1 athlete in the country for the 2017 recruiting class, was committed to the Tigers until November when the drama surrounding Miles’ status as head coach spooked him.
He reportedly named Georgia as a favorite, with LSU, Auburn, Florida and USC rounding out an “unofficial” top five at the moment.
Meanwhile, Dylan Moses is making his return to campus a day after visiting the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. As the nation’s No. 2 overall player, the IMG Academy product is drawing plenty of interest.
