A number of Alabama players had solid performances around the NFL this week, but these two players stole the headlines.
Former Tide receiver and Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooper was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week while former Tide DB and current Chicago Bears S Eddie Jackson was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Cooper was off to a slow start this season heading into Thursday’s game. The Raiders set out to get him on a roll early and looked his way all night long. Cooper finished the night with 11 catches for 210 yards and 2 TDs. It was an incredible performance and clearly his best game of the year.
