ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit released his top-performing teams of Week 5 of the college football season, and Arkansas and Georgia made the list.
The Razorbacks were slotted at No. 2 on the list, and landed on there with a win to remember. Not only did they stun newly-ranked Mississippi State on the road, but they broke a 20-game SEC losing streak in the process to give Sam Pittman his first win as a head coach.

Arkansas will have a tough one at Auburn on Saturday, but it can enter that one with the weight of a long conference losing skid off its shoulders.
Georgia’s inclusion on the list at No. 5 is no surprise. With Herbstreit in the press box calling the game on ESPN alongside Chris Fowler, the Bulldogs put together a dominant performance, beating Auburn 27-6 at Sanford Stadium. The game was highlighted by a 9-catch, 147-yard performance by Kearis Jackson.
The Bulldogs are set to take on Tennessee on Saturday before a huge showdown against Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Oct. 10.
