The No. 1 defensive tackle for the Class of 2017 isn’t committed to any school yet, but he has a good feeling which ones have staying power.
Two of those schools for Marvin Wilson are from the SEC and those are Alabama and LSU, according to SEC Country.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Wilson from Bellaire, Texas, also rated as the No. 5 overall prospect in the entire class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, told Jeff Sentell as much on Thursday.
“Those are going to be the two schools that will be there until the end,” Wilson said. “I already know that. I don’t have a set Top 5 or a Top 10, but if I did I know those two schools would be in there.”
Wilson has gotten offers from nine SEC schools. On top of the Crimson Tide and the Tigers, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt have also offered.
