An offensive tackle and a dual-threat QB, both of which are ranked among the best at their respective positions for the Class of 2016, signed Financial Aid agreements with the Crimson Tide today, according to reports.
Four-star quarterback Jalen Hurts, ranked as the No. 5 dual-threat QB according to 247Sports, looks set to play for Alabama.
This news comes despite the fact that the Texan reportedly got an in-home visit a week ago from Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin, who’s desperate to fill the voids left by transfer QBs Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray.
Meanwhile, OT Jonah Williams — ranked as the No. 3 offensive tackle — also signed his paperwork to receive aid. The 6-foot-5, 296-pounder from Folsom, Calif., has been committed to the Tide since the 4th of July.
