Ty Simpson fields praise for preposterous throw to Lotty Brooks on 4th and 8

Ty Simpson is absolutely dealing against Mizzou, and he put his team in position to win it with a pair of crucial 4th-down conversions.
One of those throws, the touchdown pass to Daniel Hill, was relatively simple, but gave the Crimson Tide a 27-17 lead over No. 14 Mizzou with under 4 minutes to play. It was his throw to Lotty Brooks on 4th down that stunned college football fans around the country, though.
Facing 4th and 8 (and having faced 3rd and 24 just a play earlier), Simpson found Brooks for a 28-yard completion to the Tigers 9-yard line. If the Crimson Tide had not converted that first down, it would have been Mizzou ball near midfield, trailing by just 3 with 4 minutes left. It was a gutsy call to go for it, and it was an even gutsier call to tell Simpson to hit a one inch by one inch window, with pressure and good coverage.
