Tyler Badie and Albert Okwuegbunam are reportedly looking for new NFL teams after the Denver Broncos have made a decision on their roster status.
Mike Klis of 9NEWS reported that Okwuegbunam had a great final preseason game and good final 2 weeks of camp but again, but the tight end position is deep with about 4 other players in the mix. Klis reported that Okwuegbunam and Badie were each let go by the Broncos.
Okwuegbunam on Saturday made 7 catches for 109 yards (15.6 average per reception) and one touchdown. The third-year tight end impressed coach Sean Payton.
“He had a big night,” Payton said, via NFL.com and the team website. “I mean, holy cow.”

The former Missouri star, commonly known as Albert O, added, “It was great. One thing about this profession is you don’t get to pick when you get opportunities, but you get to pick when you take advantage of them. That’s just what I did tonight — have fun — and that’s what you guys saw.”
Badie, who was originally with the Ravens, appeared in 1 game for the Broncos last season. He was a 6th round pick of the Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft.
