Published:

Tyler Badie is Mizzou’s single-season rushing leader, running for 1,604 yards, breaking Devin West’s record.

(West ran for 1,703 yards in 1998 if you include the bowl game, but the NCAA doesn’t count bowl game stats before 2002.)

However, coach Eli Drinkwitz revealed on Tuesday that Badie wouldn’t be playing in the Armed Forces Bowl against Army on Wednesday night. Shortly thereafter, Badie took to Instagram to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft:

Badie had a special season, showing his prowess both as a rusher and a receiver, so he’ll likely garner plenty of interest from NFL teams.

How high will he be drafted? We’ll have to wait until April to find out.
