Jalen Milroe has faced some backlash early this season and Nick Saban benched him in Week 3 at South Florida.
However, the sophomore quarterback has the full support of his teammates because of the way he competes.
During Alabama’s 24-10 victory vs. SEC West rival Ole Miss, Milroe delivered a 33-yard dime for a touchdown to Jalen Hale and tough a tough blow in the process. Offensive lineman Tyler Booker says Milroe’s toughness is a major part of why his teammates respect him.
“He plays with so much heart…I have yet to see Jalen Milroe slide. As an offensive lineman that get’s us fired up, like ‘hey, don’t take so many hits’ but at the same time we love it…he’s fighting for us so we gotta fight for him” said @iamtylerbooker when asked about the hit… https://t.co/9JHSvHUJWB pic.twitter.com/0W2Bm9bd38
