Former LSU star safety Tyrann Mathieu, also known as the “Honey Badger,” has signed a mega deal to stick around with the Arizona Cardinals for the foreseeable future.
Per Joe Schad, his new deal is worth $62.5 million over five years.

Matheiu has earned every penny. Since being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, he’s compiled 180 tackles, 30 pass deflections and eight interceptions in 40 games, making him a vital counterpart to Patrick Peterson in the Cardinals’ dangerously good secondary.
