The top overall prospect from New Jersey in the 2021 recruiting cycle has made his decision.
Following a long recruitment, two-sport standout Tywone Malone announced on Wednesday he’s heading to Ole Miss.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound Bergen Catholic High School product is rated as the No. 1 overall prospect from New Jersey and the nation’s No. 6 defensive tackle in the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
A multi-sport athlete, he stars on the baseball team at Bergen Catholic in addition to being an elite prospect on the gridiron, was selected to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game before it was canceled due to COVID.
