“We got a couple of guys that won’t be going with us this time, but other than that we did great. We have still done really well,” Clark told Christian Chambers of WBRC Fox6.
In the video clip shared on Twitter by Chambers, Clark did not specify how many players will not travel to Miami. Chambers tweeted that the Blazers will have all their starters.
“We’re testing now three times a week ourself and then we are testing when we get there for the ACC,” Clark said. “Like I said before, we’re testing more probably than anybody in the country right now, but you know extra safe, extra cautious. We’ll have masks on when on the bus and on the plane. So we’re doing everything we can.”
UAB is already 1-0 on the season with a 45-35 win over FCS Central Arkansas. Thursday’s game is set for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff on the ACC Network. Miami is favored over UAB by 14 points, according to the latest betting odds.
