UCF announces Ole Miss transfer has been granted immediate eligibility

Tony Gray won’t have to sit out the 2019 season.
UCF announced Saturday that the Ole Miss transfer has been granted immediate eligibility. Gray, out of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was a class of 2017 signee at Ole Miss. He redshirted in 2017 and played in four games last season as a backup at right tackle. In April, Gray announced he would be transferring to UCF.
The 6-5, 311-pounder should give UCF a boost up front. The Knights open their 2019 season on Thursday against Florida A&M, Tallahassee, Florida’s most successful college football team last season (6-5).
