UCF commit trolls Gators after announcing: ‘I wanted to play for the best team in Florida’

UCF landed a Christmas Day commitment from 4-star 2023 DL Kaven Call. It was a big addition to the Knights’ 2023 class and a huge recruiting win for coach Gus Malzahn.
It also didn’t take long for Call to make waves in the Sunshine State.
As you can see below, after committing, Call cited UCF’s win over Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl as a deciding factor in his choice:

“After (UCF) beat Florida, that really sealed it for me and I knew then I wanted to play for the best team in Florida,” Call said.
UCF-Florida is a lot more intense of a rivalry now. Hopefully, that’s a game we’ll get to see more of in the coming years.
