This weekend is the calm before the storm in the college football world. We had a great Army-Navy game on Saturday and the LA Bowl got bowl season started. But the Playoff kicks off on Friday night, so that’s when the real fun begins.

In the NFL, the Week 15 Sunday slate provides plenty of drama and intrigue. There’s plenty of meat on the bone for DFS players to make some serious money.

As always, our DFS experts — Andrew Olson and Adam Spencer — have scoured Underdog to find their top plays for Sunday. Their 3 favorite picks are below. But first…

Week 15 NFL Picks

Here’s who the guys like for Sunday’s big games:

Andrew Olson

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans TE: Higher than 3.5 receptions

Schultz is consistently part of Houston’s passing game plan with 62 catches on 84 targets entering Week 15. The Arizona defense is a very favorable matchup for him to get 4 receptions.

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs QB: Lower than 1.5 pass TDs

It’s starting to look like the Chiefs probably aren’t just going to flip a switch and start dominating everyone en route to another Super Bowl appearance. Up next is an LA defense that’s mighty stingy defending the pass. The Chargers have only twice this year given up multiple passing TDs in a game.

Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots WR: Higher than 49.5 receiving yards

Diggs had his biggest game of the season against Buffalo catching 10 passes on 12 targets for 146 yards. He probably won’t match that, but he doesn’t have to come anywhere near that October performance to clear this number. Another revenge game should lift Diggs to a solid showing.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals QB: Higher than 259.5 pass yards

Even if the Bengals don’t win this game against a desperate Baltimore squad, I think Burrow will put up plenty of numbers. He should be good for 260+ pass yards, a bulk of which could go to star WR Ja’Marr Chase.

Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles RB: Higher than 80.5 rush yards

Running for 81+ yards against a terrible Las Vegas defense isn’t asking much. Conditions in Philadelphia won’t be great, so Barkley figures to get a heavy workload. I think he can have one of his best performances of the year.

James Cook, Buffalo Bills RB: Lower than 83.5 rush yards

On the flip side, the Patriots don’t allow teams to run on them. James Cook is going to find running room tough to come by today. Even if the Bills try to establish the run early, it likely won’t work against this New England front.
