The University of Virginia is continuing to mourn the lives of 3 football players taken in a Sunday night shooting.

Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr., and D’Sean Perry were all killed during the on-campus shooting. Two others were wounded. The alleged gunman, Christopher Darnell Jones Jr., is currently in custody.

A moment of silence was held on the Virginia campus in Charlottesville on Monday night in memory of the lives taken on Sunday. Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellinger was on hand to capture the events:

“This is a sad, shocking and tragic day for our UVA community,” university president Jim Ryan said in a Monday press conference. “Let me say how deeply sorry I am for the victims and for their family and friends.”

As for the individuals that were wounded, they were not identified by Ryan during his press conference. However, according to the Washington Post, one is Virginia running back Mike Hollins, who is in “stable condition” according to his father.
