Of the more than 1,000 high school recruits in this year’s recruiting class, only 35 are regarded as five-star prospects in the 247Sports industry composite rankings.
However, 306 more players are considered to be four-star recruits, many of whom will headline the recruiting classes of their schools of choice.
Most of those four-star recruits have already given a commitment to a school, but among the handful of prospects who haven’t committed yet many are considering at least one SEC school with less than a week remaining until National Signing Day.
