Unsigned 5-star players considering SEC schools

Earning the designation of a five-star recruit is a tremendous honor, indicating a player is among the top 1 percent in his recruiting class as far as abilities and talent are concerned.

This year, only 35 high school football players from across the country were given five-star ratings by the 247Sports industry composite, and among those 35 players only eight have yet to announce where they’ll be playing college football next season.

All eight players are scheduled to make their formal announcements on National Signing Day, and six of those eight are still considering SEC schools as a landing spot for 2015 (the two that aren’t are defensive tackle Rasheem Green and tailback Soso Jamabo.

Of the six players still considering SEC programs with less than a week until Signing Day, four have Auburn on their short lists. Three more have Florida in the mix, proving Jim McElwain has wasted no time making an impression on top prospects in his limited time recruiting for the Gators.

Here are all eight remaining five-star recruits and the schools they’re all considering in the final days of the recruitment process:
