Updated 2019 NFL Round 2 mock draft from Sports Illustrated projects nearly half of selections to come from the SEC
The Southeastern Conference led the way following the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft with nine total selections but if the latest mock draft for Round 2 from Sports Illustrated is correct, the league could do even better to open the festivities on Friday.
In total, Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated is projecting 15 SEC players to be selected in Round 2 of the draft. In addition to the high volume of picks, five of the first six picks hail from the SEC, too.
