Heading into the SEC Tournament in St. Louis, it appears the league should feel confident about placing at least six, if not seven or eight teams, in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

At least that’s the way Bracketologists Jerry Palm of CBS Sports and Joe Lunardi of ESPN currently project things in their latest attempts to nail down the NCAA Tournament field.

Of course, things can change in a hurry if a team from the lower ranks in the standings makes a big run in the conference tournament and potentially wins an automatic berth into the big dance by winning it all in St. Louis. The one team that can’t feel great about its chances at the moment is Alabama. Palm does not list the Tide as a tournament team, while Lunardi has Alabama as an 11 seed.

Here’s how they see the every SEC team in their latest Bracketology charts:

Jerry Palm/CBS:

#3 seed, Auburn (South) — Static

#3 seed, Tennessee (East) — Static

#5 seed, Kentucky (South) — Static

#6 seed, Arkansas (East) — Static

#7 seed, Florida (East) — Trending up

#8 seed, Texas A&M (Midwest) — Trending up

#8 seed, Missouri (East) — Trending up

Joe Lunardi/ESPN:

#5 seed, Florida (East) — Trending up

#6 seed, Kentucky (South) — Trending down

#7 seed, Arkansas (East) — Static
