Updated CFP odds feature a surprise contender

With only conference championships and a few make-up games left on the schedule, the College Football Playoff race has come into full focus.

As such, oddsmakers have released updated odds for teams to qualify for the CFP and win the national championship. The lines suggest Vegas in confident Alabama and Clemson will win their conferences to join undefeated Notre Dame in the Playoff, making the race for the final spot tantalizing for oddsmakers.

The presumed contenders are Oklahoma, Ohio State, Georgia and UCF, though online sportsbook BetDSI surprisingly included three-loss Texas among those teams. Below are odds for each team reaching this year’s CFP, according to BetDSI.
