Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa has been the frontrunner to win the Heisman Trophy for most of the season, but some household names as challengers have closed the gap a bit.

Super Book USA released its updated lines that still show Tagovailoa at -180, though Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray and Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins are each at +250. West Virginia QB Will Grier and UCF QB McKenzie Milton are longer shots to win it.

The top four discussion for the Heisman Trophy — those invited to New York — has been fairly fluid much of the season, though Haskins and Grier have been consistently in the conversation.

Kentucky RB Benny Snell, Jr. has spent time as a darkhorse, and Penn State QB Trace McSorley has been mentioned. Houston DL Ed Oliver is most commonly labeled the top defensive name.

As the debate rages on, it appears to be shifting from Tagovailoa’s playing time, to his injury status and whether that would impact his play, or stats.
