The college basketball regular season is about to come to a close with the Southeastern Conference far from being settled in what has turned out to be an outstanding season of basketball.

The three teams at the top of the league standings have clearly separated themselves from the pack but the logjam between the fourth place team and the eleventh place team make nearly every game in league play competitive.  With only two games remaining in the regular season, we have no idea how the seedings will play at for the upcoming SEC Tournament in Nashville.

Looking beyond the conference tournament and to the NCAA Tournament, we thought we’d give you an updated look at the NET rankings for each SEC program. The NET rankings are a new metric being used for the first time this season and will play a role regarding which teams make the NCAA Tournament as selected by the tournament’s committee.

Here is a look at the game’s this week in the SEC, with several teams in need of a win to improve their SEC Tournament seeding and potentially NCAA seeding/NET rankings:

  • South Carolina at Texas A&M (Tuesday, 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network)
  • Mississippi State at Tennessee (Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET on SEC Network)
  • Kentucky at Ole Miss (Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET on ESPN)
  • Auburn at Alabama (Tuesday, 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU)
  • Missouri at Georgia (Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network)
  • LSU at Florida (Wednesday, 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2)
  • Arkansas at Vanderbilt (Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. on SEC Network)

Here is how all 14 league teams currently rank according to NET:
