Ohio State media fooled by Papa John’s pizza order mishap

The meeting that is taking place between the Ohio State Board of Trustees and school president Michael Drake is no laughing matter, as coach Urban Meyer’s future is in the balance.
However, there was a light-hearted moment among media members waiting for news from the meeting.
According to The Athletic’s Ari Wasserman, when one Ohio State reporter ran outside to chase down a Papa John’s pizza driver, it sparked a media frenzy, as others thought the reporter was chasing down a lead:
So @DougLesmerises ran outside to chase the Papa John's guy, and it started a stampede of reporters thinking someone of note was in the parking lot. What a day.

After causing such a stir, perhaps whoever ordered the pizza was guilted into sharing some of the pizza.
As far as the investigation goes, though, there’s still no news to report.
