Kobe Bryant’s tragic death has left the world stunned.
Bryant was one of nine victims killed Sunday in the tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna was also killed, along with others John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester and Ara Zobayan.
Bryant’s legacy of out-working everyone, winning and dominance gripped sports during his long-time NBA career. Prominent players and coaches all over the world have been paying tribute to Bryant, and the latest is former Ohio State and Florida head coach Urban Meyer.
Meyer released the following statement on his Twitter account, paying tribute to Bryant.
“Elite warrior. I have always used you as an example of a great leader and competitor for all of my teams over the years. Was honored to finally meet you a few weeks ago. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones. Rest In Peace, Kobe,” Meyer wrote on social media.
