USA TODAY’s post-Week 2 bowl projections feature 11 SEC squads

The 2020 SEC season is 2 weeks in, and it’s starting to become clear which teams are the best of the conference.

As we prepare for Week 3 in the SEC, USA TODAY analyst Erick Smith posted his updated bowl projections, which included 11 SEC squads.

As you can see below, he has both Alabama and Florida making the College Football Playoff. The only 3 SEC teams not to make the projections were Arkansas, Mizzou and Vanderbilt:

Alabama

  • Sugar Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson

Auburn

  • Gator Bowl vs. Virginia Tech

Florida

  • Rose Bowl (CFP) vs. Ohio State

Georgia

  • Orange Bowl vs. Notre Dame

Kentucky

  • Las Vegas Bowl vs. Cal

LSU

  • Outback Bowl vs. Minnesota

Mississippi State

  • Music City Bowl vs. Iowa

Ole Miss

  • Liberty Bowl vs. West Virginia

South Carolina

  • Birmingham Bowl vs. Louisville

Tennessee

  • Citrus Bowl vs. Michigan

Texas A&M

  • Texas Bowl vs. Iowa State
