Mississippi State adds nonconference matchup against Utah State to its future schedule

For the first time in program history, Mississippi State is scheduled to play Utah State on the gridiron.
The first matchup between the two programs was officially announced on Monday as Utah State shared that the Aggies are set to travel to Starkville on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024.
In recent seasons, Utah State has matchup up against several SEC programs as the Aggies have traveled to LSU in 2019, Tennessee in 2014, and Auburn in 2011.
Following this news, Mississippi State’s complete 2024 non-conference schedule is set.

- Aug. 31 vs. Eastern Kentucky
- Sept. 7 at Arizona State
- Sept. 14 vs. Utah State
- Nov. 2 vs. UMass
