The Vanderbilt football have gotten a chance to bond together during their trip to Hawaii and on Thursday they visited Pearl Harbor together.

The program’s official Twitter account released a short video documenting the experience.

“To play this game of football it takes you places and I’m very blessed, grateful, honored to experience things like this,” safety Maxwell Worship said. “To learn a little bit more about everyone’s history, America’s history, my history. Just being at Pearl Harbor is a very humbling experience.”

The Commodores are in the 50th state to play Hawaii this Saturday at 10:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. They are among the handful of teams playing in Week 0 and the only SEC team on the slate this week.
