Vanderbilt lands commitment from top center prospect Daniel Dawkins

The Commodores have landed commit No. 3 for the 2018 recruiting cycle as three-star offensive lineman Daniel Dawkins announced his decision to give his verbal commit to Vanderbilt.

Dawkins, a native of Hightstown, New Jersey, officially announced the news via his Twitter account:

The 6-foot-3, 296-pound Dawkins ranks as the No. 6 center prospect in the nation and New Jersey’s No. 12 overall prospect in the 2018 recruiting cycle according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Dawkins has committed to the Commodores over offers from Missouri, Michigan, Duke, North Carolina, Boston College among others.
