Good news from Nashville as Vanderbilt has just announced that Hawkins Field will be opened to full capacity for the final four regular-season baseball games from May 18-22.
The school’s decision comes after Nashville’s Metro Public Health Department lifted all restrictions on all outdoor capacity limitations starting May 14.
Masks or face coverings will still be required to enter the stadium.
The move to full capacity at Hawkins Field will not be in place for Vanderbilt’s upcoming series against Alabama but will be in effect once the team returns from Oxford following a scheduled series against Ole Miss.
Vanderbilt closes out the regular season against Florida International (May 18) and Kentucky (May 20-22).
For postseason games contested at Hawkins Field, Vanderbilt will adhere to the NCAA’s postseason attendance protocols, the school also announced.
