One can expect an offseason storyline of a possible playoff rematch between Week 1 opponents Alabama and FSU. The Seminoles have the next-best odds (7:1) behind the Crimson Tide, notably better than Clemson’s (18:1), UA’s opponent the last two championship games. If Alabama and Florida State win their conferences, they could be meeting twice in 2017.
The SEC team with the next-best odds is LSU (12:1) and then a noticeable shift to longshot status starts with Auburn (30:1), Georgia (40:1), Florida (50:1) and Tennessee (50:1).
