Gator Nation got good news Wednesday when Florida coach Jim McElwain revealed junior star cornerback Vernon Hargreaves should play in Saturday’s pivotal game at Kentucky (7:30 p.m. EST, SEC Network).
“Vernon probably went from questionable to probable the way he moved (in today’s practice),” McElwain said.
McElwain also said that “it’s going to be really a decision from him and then obviously the doctors moving forward.”
Hargreaves undisclosed leg injury forced him to sit out last weekend’s win over East Carolina and the Florida secondary suffered as a result, yielding 346 yards through the air and three touchdowns.
Five-star true freshman tackle Martez Ivey will make his collegiate debut after practicing all week without pain, according to McElwain.
