The Tennessee Volunteers could very well challenge for an SEC title next season, but to do so, they’ll almost certainly need the skills of versatile guard/forward Yves Pons.
However, until Monday, the Vols were waiting to see if Pons would stay in the 2020 NBA Draft or return to school for his senior season.
Well, the wait is over. Per ESPN’s Sean Farnham, Pons is coming back to the Vols and withdrawing his name from the draft:

Pons is one of the best defenders in the SEC and has added a lot to his offensive game during his time in Knoxville.
Last year, he appeared in 31 games, starting all of them. He averaged 10.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 1.1 assists per contest.
