Veterans Day 2023: SEC coaches, teams pay respects to sacrifices made by military
Veterans Day is a special time of year as many SEC coaches and teams had different ways of showing gratitude for all those who have contributed to the military.
Many coaches and teams around the conference paid their respects to those who have served in order to protect the freedoms we have. Teams around the country will be wearing special patches on their helmets or uniforms to also pay respect.
Kirk Herbstreit showed gratitude on social media, saying that he was “eternally grateful” to all those who’ve served in the military.
Here are some of the reactions to Veterans Day from around the SEC:
On Veterans Day and every day, we thank all those who have proudly served our country in uniform.
