Deadlocked at 0-0 early in the fourth quarter, Alabama was looking for one of its fantastic athletes to step up and make a play.
True freshman QB Jalen Hurts stepped up to the plate and hit a home run all the way to Tuscaloosa.
Facing a 3rd-and-9 from the LSU 21-yard line, Hurts evaded LSU pressure — whilst stepping up in the pocket — and outran two LSU defenders en route to the end zone.
The score early in the fourth quarter gave Alabama a 7-0 lead.
