Video: Alabama safety Eddie Jackson is running again and looks ready to impress at NFL Combine
Despite winning the game, Alabama suffered a devastating loss at home against Texas A&M last season when it lost senior safety Eddie Jackson to a broken leg. The injury cost Jackson his season and ultimately ended his playing career in Tuscaloosa.
While the Alabama defense didn’t take a huge dropoff without Jackson in the lineup, the Tide’s secondary never fully recovered from his absence.
Thankfully, less than four months removed from that injury, Jackson is already back on the field and preparing for the 2017 NFL Draft. Jackson showed just how far he’s come back after rehabbing his injury by posting this video to his Twitter account Wednesday.

Judging by the video, there’s little doubt Jackson will be back on the field in time for the upcoming NFL season. Jackson will be among the 10 former Alabama players participating in this year’s NFL Combine. If given a clean bill of health coming off his injury, look for Jackson to quickly rise up the draft charts in the coming weeks.
